Erin Allingham

Erin Allingham

Inquisitive, thoughtful, adventurous. A believer in there being more to the story and a seeker of what that is.

Born in the U.S. and raised all over, Erin has been following her curiosity for as long as she can remember. Once she was out on her own, it led her to get her bachelors in English Literature and Spanish from Duke University, live in Madrid for a year, work as a medical writer, go to graduate school for Literature, collaborate with behavioural economist Dan Ariely on several books, and ultimately to move to Australia the moment it became an option.

She came to market research through an interest in thorough but fast-paced research where she could constantly expand her understanding of the hidden story of people’s everyday lives, and how they behave and make decisions. Erin joined koji as a natural extension of this pursuit.

Having a diverse background allows Erin to search for answers in unique ways, though it’s her belief that a well-put question is more than half the battle when it comes to research. Away from the office, she continues to expand her perspective through culinary and literary pursuits, exploring her new homeland and hemisphere, and the quest for perfect sunscreen.
